Site Engineer Wanted at MDBCD Construction Design
MDBCD Construction Design has one opening for a Site Engineer, and they're looking for someone who can hit the ground running on technical projects.
If you've got a year or two of hands-on experience and you're comfortable moving between the office and the site, this one's worth a look.
About MDBCD Construction Design

What the job actually involves
You'll be working closely with the technical team, mainly on:
- Helping prepare projects from the early stages
- Coordinating day-to-day project activities
- Doing site visits and supervision
- Supporting the team through planning and implementation, not just sitting on the sidelines
So it's not a desk-only role. Expect to be out on site fairly often.
Required education and experience
- A1 or A0 level in Building Construction or a related field
- A minimum of 1 to 3 years of relevant professional experience in the field
- Solid computer skills, especially Word and Excel
- Comfortable with ArchiCAD and AutoCAD
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of technical projects from the early planning stage
- Coordinate day-to-day project activities alongside the technical team
- Carry out regular site visits to monitor progress and conditions on the ground
- Support site supervision, making sure work follows the approved plans and standards
- Contribute to project planning and help keep implementation on track
- Prepare basic site reports and share updates with the team as needed
- Use tools like AutoCAD and ArchiCAD to support drawings and technical documentation
- Help identify issues on site early and flag them to the relevant team members
- Work closely with contractors, workers, and other stakeholders during site activities
So it's not a desk-only role. Expect to be out on site fairly often.
Eligibility criteria
To be considered for this role, you should:
- Hold a recognized A1 or A0 qualification in Building Construction, Civil Engineering, or a closely related field
- Having signed and stamped working experience
- Have at least 1 year, and no more than 3 years, of hands on professional experience in construction or site engineering
- Be able to work well within a team and adapt to a fast moving construction environment
- Be available to carry out site visits and supervision as part of the role, not just office based work
- Have all the required documents ready and complete at the time of application
Benefits
- A chance to grow your career alongside an active project team, gaining direct site and field experience
- Exposure to real technical projects from planning through to implementation
- Practical, hands-on experience that builds on your ArchiCAD and AutoCAD skills
- Working within a structured team where your contribution to project coordination and site supervision actually counts
Documents you'll need to prepare
Before you apply, get these ready. Missing documents is one of the most common reasons applications get skipped, so double check everything is in order.
- National ID or a valid passport (if it's a passport, having 3-4 copies is safer)
- An updated CV or resume
- Academic certificates and diplomas
- A certificate of good conduct, issued by RIB
- 2 to 4 passport-size photos
- Your RSSB number, and if you also have RCB insurance, mention that too; it's an added advantage.
- A certificate confirming your previous work experience.
- A formal job application letter (cover letter) addressed to the company's management.
- Contact details of 2 to 3 professional referees who actually know your work.
- Anything else that backs up your professional qualifications and experience
How to apply
Send your complete application to mdbcdconstractiondesign@gmail.com
Address your cover letter to the management of MDBCD Construction Design, and make sure every document from the list above is attached before you hit send.
Deadline: August 31, 2026
Don't wait until the last day. Emails with missing attachments or last-minute technical issues are an easy way to lose a good opportunity.
